Backstage Beauty Report PFWL10

While there’s nothing more we love than sitting in the FROW, checking out luxe Pakistani fashion sashaying down the catwalk, for the beauty addict in us, the best seat in the house is backstage.

So we snuck behind the curtain for a close up look at the hair and makeup created especially for this year’s Pakistan Fashion Week London.

Pakistan’s super-stylist Nabila flew in to create the looks, which paired fresh, dewy skin with on-trend rose gold on the lids and lips. Here are the key trends we picked up for next season.

And the best part? They translate perfectly from backstage to bridal.



Washes of deep nudes, bronzes and gold were the perfect backdrop to iridescent gold and copper glitter. Bold angled liner sharpened the final effect.



The focus was very much on the clean, innocent look for the base. Enhanced with highlighter and strobing, the look is young, fun and feminine.



Petal soft pink and eastern reds brought the lips to life. Although many models sported a matte finish, some were given a gilded highlight with gold glitter dusted over the top.
