For Red Dot Jewels’ campaign, the Khush Creative team drew inspiration from colonial India, a forest theme. I love the colours and effects on it, especially as it really highlights the jewellery and bridal ornaments. There’s something for every kind of bride, and the beauty of the shoot is you can apply style elements from it to make it your own. It really showcases the huge selection and quality that Red Dot Jewels offer bridal clients.

Sonam K Ahuja interview and shoot, Khush Wedding Summer
This image from our Sonam K Ahuja interview and shoot is one of my favourites from 2018. There’s a really appealing maturity in the way she’s sitting and how we’ve styled her that makes me look at her in a new way - she looks like a newlywed. She has an incredible glow to her, enhanced by Ganga Airbrush's makeup.

Sonakshi cover shoot, Khush Wedding Spring
Shooting in Doha, Qatar was a first for me. I loved working with Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha on this destination wedding-style shoot. I think they’re the perfect type of Big Day, linking two amazing events (going on holiday and tying the knot) that will give you a buzz like no other. Apart from guaranteed sunshine, it’s also an opportunity for the bride and groom to choose a lighter, softer more liberating wardrobe - which we showed through in the Sonakshi shoot. As with all our covers, we shot a fashion film for this, and it’s up there with some of my very favourites.

Goenka Jewels campaign, Khush Wedding Summer
I remember this shoot vividly, because it was 21st June - A.K.A summer solstice, the longest day of the year. To ensure we captured the golden hour we were up and waiting on the beach at Camber Sands before sunrise (which was at 4.42am - I know!) 
The early start paid off and we got the images we wanted; ethereal and tranquil. It was so peaceful at that time of day, all you could hear was the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore and the camera button clicking. The whole campaign is very emotive. To me, it captures a pure moment that everyone can relate to.

Otherworldly Honeymoons, Khush Wedding AW18
Like 99.9% of people, I absolutely love going on holiday, so needless to say, the honeymoon section is one of my favorites in the magazine. I loved researching and writing this feature, which looks at unusual honeymoon destinations off the beaten path. While there’s nothing wrong with lying on a beach for two weeks, for those who want to try something more adventurous, this feature is a must-read. Top of my travel list is the Amangiri resort in Utah – it looks incredible.

Shooting this still life beauty shoot felt like it took forever. We spent hours splashing water in freezing cold temperatures to get exactly the right shapes and angles, and looking back at it now - the results are so worth it!

Scent is such a personal thing, but for so many brides, finding the perfect W-day fragrance can be tough. This feature showcases niche, luxury perfumes as well as new releases, which will help brides and grooms-to-be find the perfect scent for the Big Day. Plus, just look at how gorgeous the shoot is!
