THE TEA
Named the Bridal Shower afternoon tea, you can expect a lavish feast that includes roast beef and watercress sandwiches, Stilton cheese straws and Chicken liver parfait with spiced fig chutney.
Indulge your sweet tooth in treats like white chocolate covered strawberries (which surely must count as one of your five-a-day); vanilla buttermilk cupcakes; and luxurious Raspberry and Champagne jelly topped with crunchy pistachio nuts.
Tea arrives in beautiful individual teapots and the fruit teas are particularly refreshing. Try the Lychee or Peach for a taste of something different.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
Apart from the delicious menu, we loved the Wedgwood fine bone china everything was served on. It gave the whole experience even more of a vintage chic edge, racked up the Instagram likes and was so pretty I had no choice but to Google it at the table.
