The newly-weds, dressed in ivory Sabyasachi outfits, made for a vision to remember. The bride shared snaps from the intimate ceremony, writing, “Surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding guest list featuring close family and friends promised nothing less than a glamorous party. The mother of the groom, Neetu Kapoor arrived in her flawless style dressed in a pink lehenga with daughter Riddhima, who chose an ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation. Father of the bride Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt, too, chose ivory and gold outfits. Actress Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt were also the first of all to arrive.
The Kapoor family including Randhir Kapoor and his daughters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor entered into the events early on. Saif Ali Khan joined his wife serving us the Pataudi look for the wedding. Ranbir and Alia, my closest and dearest people in this world, my happy place and my safe place, who have added everything to my life and given themselves completely and selflessly to our movie,” he shared.
Shakti Kapoor remembered his late friend, Rishi Kapoor saying, “When I close my eyes, I picture him wearing a Punjabi safa, standing at the gate laughing and being the gracious host.” The wedding party moved on to a grand afterparty.
