Sonam ki Shaadi

So it’s finally happened! After months of speculation and suspense, Sonam Kapoor has officially become Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja (she’s already updated her Instagram page).

The Veere Di Wedding star married her fiancé, businessman Anand Ahuja in a traditional ceremony at her aunt Kavita Singh’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai before continuing the celebrations at a glittering reception at The Leela, Mumbai with friends, family and Bollywood’s finest.

As an international style icon, what Sonam would wear was always going to make headline news. Now the events are over and Miss has become a Mrs, we look back at her wedding wardrobe to inspire other brides-to-be.

Sonam wore a pastel-hued Anuradha Vakil lehenga for the event, matched by Anand.


The Sangeet

The Veere Di Wedding star chose a white and gold Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, finished with jewels by Sunita Kapoor. Her glowing makeup and elegant hair look was done by Namrata Soni.

The Reception
The newlyweds arrive at The Leela Mumbai for their wedding reception. Sonam chose a striking lehenga by Anamika Khanna, while husband Anand Ahuja broke groom rules in a pair of Nikes and Raghavendra Rathore.
