Will Priyanka Chopra be a Royal bridesmaid

After months of will-they-won't-they speculation, Buckingham Palace has finally announced Suits actress Meghan Markle will marry Prince Harry, the last eligible prince in the British Royal Family.

It’s believed the lovebirds will tie the knot in spring 2018 (best get planning!) and talk has already turned to whom Princess-Bride-to-be Meghan will have in her bridesmaid line-up.

She’s known to be close to tennis champion Serena Williams, Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra.

The two actresses met at a party in 2015 and hit it off straight away. They’ve been spotted hanging out at bars in LA and NYC after Meghan interviewed the Bajirao Mastani and Baywatch star for her blog, The Tig.

Since then, the two have become firm friends, with Priyanka standing up for Meghan becoming known solely as Harry’s ‘plus one’, arguing she should be recognised for her own considerable achievements rather than just a girl who bagged a prince.

This is significant, as a girl who stands up and cheers for your achievements is a bridesmaid who you can depend on 100%.
