Has style icon and silver screen Queen Sonam Kapoor found her prince? Rumours of a spring wedding in Geneva are gathering speed.
Here’s what we’ve heard so far:
The Groom: Fashion tycoon Anand Ahuja
The two have been friends for years and are active on each other’s Instagram account, posting cute comments and celebrating each other’s victories.

She has publicly supported Anand’s businesses, while he was by her side when she won the National Award for her role in Neerja. Last year he threw a huge 32nd birthday party for Sonam in Delhi. How many friends would do that?

The Venue: Geneva Switzerland
Bollywood Hungama has pinned Geneva, Switzerland as the venue for the wedding of the decade. She has business interests there as ambassador for luxury watch company IWC.
With her global appeal and international fan base, a destination wedding makes perfect sense. One thing’s for certain as far as we're concerned; as Bollywood royalty, Sonam’s celebration will give Harry and Meghan’s a run for their money!
The Date: May 2018
If the rumours are to be believed, Sonam and Anand are to tie the knot over 11th and 12th May, a time when Swiss spring is at its prettiest.
The Ceremony: Traditional Hindu
According to an insider on the wedding planning team who spoke to the Mumbai Mirror: “The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Her dad Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehndi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding.”
It sounds like an epic party! However in an exclusive interview with Khush Wedding when she made our Summer cover last year, Sonam revealed she would love a small intimate wedding.

The Wardrobe: Ralph & Russo
Talk of who will dress Sonam for her Big Day has reached fever pitch. Some say Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla will take care of the style Queens bridal looks, but we’re putting our money on Ralph & Russo.
Not only does Sonam regularly stun the red carpet in their exquisite couture, but she closed their AW17/18 Preview Show in front of the international fashion pack in Paris last year. Plus, we know she’s great pals with Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo. So it all just makes excellent fashion sense, no?
