Sonam Kapoor at Cannes 2016

All eyes were on the star of the silver screen Sonam Kapoor at Cannes Film Festival 2016 when the Bollywood beauty dazzled the gathered crowd, paparazzi and fellow celebrities in a customised Ralph & Russo gown. 

The star of Khoobsurat glided elegantly down the red carpet, with the caped gown flowing behind her. We're head over heels for the L'Oréal Paris India brand ambassador's red carpet look.

Caped dresses are huge for SS16, and Sonam nails the look to perfection. 

The white dress, embroidered with so-hot-right-now metallic motifs and complete with a choker necklace, looks like something out of a fantasy film epic.

The single sleeve and cut-out shoulder keeps the overall style contemporary and seriously fashion-forward. All hail Khaleesi Sonam!

The actress's other look for the 69th Cannes Film Festival was a sculpted black and blue sari from Rimzim Dadu, styled by Sonam's sister Rhea. The fluid looking pallu cascades seamlessly over the star's shoulder creating a sublime futuristic vibe that we think is perfect for an engagement party or pre-wedding dinner.
