START: Trying on wedding outfits. if you’re having a bespoke piece made, you’ll need to allow enough time for fittings and readjustments.


POP THE QUESTION: Select your bridesmaids and get your groom to pick his best man.
TASTE: Various food options with different caterers bearing in mind dietary requirements and needs of your guests.

DISCUSS: Floral arrangements, bouquets, garlands and buttonholes for all your venues with your florist.

TIME TO TALK: Getting married in a temple, mosque or any religious venue? Discuss your plans with the venue manager. Having a civil ceremony? Ask what music and readings are allowed.

DON'T FORGET: Sunblock and remember it can be difficult to find summer clothes in mid-winter and vice-versa. Go online to nab a bargain.
PLAN: Your Mehndi party, choosing a theme, caterers and music to ensure a fun-filled night.


CONFIRM: Your Honeymoon reservations.
CHANGE: If you’re taking your groom’s surname, renew your passport after the Honeymoon. Remember, the name on your ticket must match your passport.
VISIT: Your GP to get shots and apply for visas.
PLAN: Get your girls together to plan your hen party!


HIRE: Your doli if you’re planning to have one for your entrance.
CHOOSE: A company if you’re having a gift list, and don’t forget to let guests know about it!
