ARTICLE BY : Abha Shah

From magnificent mansions to sublime lakeside hotels to stunning city hotels, the UK has hundreds of places to tie the knot. However, the advantages of living in an island nation become clear when a venue such as Angel House, Brighton presents itself.

Positioned on Brighton’s iconic seafront, Angel House is an elegant privately owned Grade 1 Regency style townhouse that’s perfect for weddings and civil ceremonies.

Inside, the historic venue has been exquisitely restored to its original splendour. Even if you choose minimal wedding décor, Angel house will still look classically wedding ready.

The venue is ideal for an intimate registry gathering, with space for 60 seated guests and a further 25 for an evening drinks reception. The prime space for the nuptials is the Regency Room. With its delicate Regency features, two entrances and huge windows, it’s the ideal setting for the wedding ceremony. It’s complemented by the Morning Room, which works fantastically for reception drinks and cake cutting.
