The stars have come out in force for the 70th Cannes Film Festival and the first to light up our style radar is actress, L’Oréal Paris global ambassador and all-round beauty Deepika Padukone.
She flew in and immediately threw her hat into the race to be crowned this year's red carpet fashion Queen. First up, her daytime looks, which we can see working so easily for a summery bridal shower or for hen party fun. I mean, how cute is that pink mini?

But it was her red carpet ensemble that sparked a lightning storm from the photographer pit. Deepika looked absolutely sensational in a one-shoulder plum Marchesa gown paired with Jimmy Choo heels plus statement DeGrisogono jewels.

What a triumphant return! This is the first time Deepika has returned to the French Riviera since making her debut in 2010. That time, she flew the flag for Indian fashion in a Rohit Bal cream and gold sari with Kundan jewellery, a studded clutch and bindi.
Obvs she looked amazing seven years ago, if a little too traditional for an international film event. However 2017's look pushes her style credentials to a whole other level. We can't wait to see what she wears next!
