The next day the couple and their family members jet off for Rajasthan. Embracing traditional bridal avatar, Katrina decided to opt for Indian wear on the flight. This time she chose a yellow Anamika Khanna set. Keeping her look simple and elegant, she wore a mustard yellow sharara set featuring white threadwork detailing, and paired the look with juttis. Her well-kept tresses were left open and a bright pink lipstick added immensely to the look.
The mehndi lehenga
The wedding celebrations began with a fun mehndi ceremony on December 7, 2021. For the occasion, Katrina opted for a gorgeous multi-coloured Sabyasachi lehenga. Pulling off the look with grace, poise and finesse Katrina took our breath away. According to the designer, “Katrina wears a multi-coloured matka silk lehenga with a patchwork blouse and an embroidered tulle dupatta inspired by Sabyasachi’s graduation collection Kashgaar Bazaar. The collection found its muse in the diversity of India’s regional folklore, crafts and nomadic culture, and layers cheent prints with hand-fringed embellishments, brass sequins and heavily embroidered borders.” She wore navratna-inspired fine jewellery from Sabyasachi Jewellery. Staying true to traditions her arms and feet were inked with gorgeous henna and sources say that the couple had procured herbal natural mehndi cones for the gala night.
The haldi lehenga
Carrying forward the celebrations to Day 2 was the haldi ceremony. It seemed like a fun-filled morning with everyone shaking a leg to the music and slathering the bride and groom in turmeric paste for good luck. Gorgeous decor brightened up the ambience. Katrina's BFF Anaita Shroff Adajania, who has been Katrina’s stylist, decked her up in another drop-dead-gorgeous outfit by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. This time the bride was seen in an ivory lehenga with gota and tilla embroidery, and an organza dupatta in gota and marori embroidery, trimmed with kiran—a look that has already secured a safe spot in our hearts. Floral jhumkas, necklace and kalire by Floral Art & Design Studio was her choice for jewellery.

Finally came the D-day, which was a packed day with a number of traditional rituals. The saat phera ceremony took place as a homage Vicky Kaushal's Punjabi roots. So, the bride went the classic way and chose a sindoori red Sabyasachi lehenga. Revealing the details, the designer said, “The bride Katrina Kaif wears a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold.” Teamed with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery, Katrina Kaif’s the look was mesmerizing. Dark, sooty black liner and dramatic lashes framed her eyes. To complement it was her dewy skin and nude lips. Congratulations to the heartiest couple.
