The first song from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film, Padmavati, is out now! The song, called 'Ghoomar', sees lead actress Deepika Padukone perform a folk dance in epic surroundings.
Ghoomar is a traditional dance form performed by princesses and queens of Rajasthan, involving twirling in circles, coordinated hand movements and foot work. Ghoomar is also performed by new brides when they are welcomed into their marital homes.
Anyone who's seen an SLB film knows his attention to detail is second to none. Everything from the outfits, to the jewellery and the set, looks nothing short of epic.
