Inside RajKummar Rao and Patralekhaa's Intimate Wedding

After years of dating, Bollywood star, RajKummar Rao tied the knot with his girlfriend Patralekhaa on the 15th of November 2021 in an intimate celebration in Chandigarh. The duo's love story started about 10 years back in 2011 and ever since there has been no turning back for these two. In an interview in 2019, RajKummar Rao disclosed that from the moment they started dating he knew he was going to marry. Quite the intuition might we say. The two stars met for the first time on the set of LSD but their love story started when they worked together for Citylights.

Taking their relations to a new level was their engagement ceremony on Saturday 13th November with an all-white theme at The Oberoi Sukhvilas. Sharing an uber-cute moment, Rao was spotted proposing on his knees to his wife but soon enough tables turned when Patralekhaa asked him to marry her and put a ring on his finger. Following this cute moment, the two danced together on Ed Sheeran’s popular song Perfect. Dressed in a dapper white sherwani the actor look suave and his better half complimented him in a pristine white gown. The newlyweds exchanged vows yesterday and both Rao and Patralekhaa took to Instagram to share pictures that gave us a glimpse of their intimate ceremony. Ace designer Sabyasachi was chosen by the duo. While the Bride looked stunning in a traditional red lehenga with polki and emerald jewellery by Sabya, the groom looked dashing in a white sherwani with a red safa.

Patralekhaa went the extra mile to add personalised details to the red tulle embroidered buti sari paired with an embroidered veil. The veil was with a Bengali verse penned by Sabyasachi for the couple to mark their special day, that translates to I surrender my full love to you. The jewellery was Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery in 22k gold with uncut diamonds, pearls and emeralds.??Rajkumar Rao wore an embroidered raw silk ivory jacket with gold plated Bengal tiger buttons paired with a Bangalore silk kurta and churidar. He completes his look with handcrafted Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery in strands of cultured Japanese pearls.

Following the day wedding was a reception ceremony. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended the ceremony and shared a picture of the couple. Rao looked sharp in a black tuxedo and Patralekhaa opted for a cream Sabyasachi saree and traditional jewellery keeping the look very traditional. The draped kani shawl and the jewels add glam to the outfit. This power couple surely knows how to get heads turning.
