Red has long been the colour that is synonymous with Indian wedding celebrations but the last few years have seen a stark change in trend. Kickstarting with the obsession after Anushka Sharma's pastel pink lehenga to the most recent vision in white, Alia Bhatt on her wedding day. Pastel colours are now becoming as much a norm as the traditional colour red, especially for daytime weddings.
The recent Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor wedding made us all fall in love with the star's white Sabyasachi sari, and a white bridal look is here to stay. While white is known as the colour of weddings in the west, it is not so common in Indian weddings. However, if you're a bride who wishes to take the road less taken, here's a round-up of some brides who aced an all-white look.
All White The monotone trend is one of the hottest fashion trends, so why not add it to your wedding wardrobe? Keep it modern and contemporary as you choose an ensemble that showcases the beauty of white. Think white on white thread work embroidery or glam it up with crystals and pearls detailing. No matter whether you lean towards a lehenga or sari, these looks have you covered.

White and Gold Looking for a more traditional option? No colour combination beats the opulence and grandeur of a classic white and gold lehenga. Dolled up with exquisite kundan and polki jewellery, this look is perfect if you want to keep it royal and regal.

A Pop Of Colour And for those brides who aren't too comfortable sticking to a monotone colour palette, throw in a pop of colour. Opt for coloured embroidery or simply add a net dupatta in a shade of red or pastel pink to complete the look. Go a step further and play with jewellery and accessories to brighten up your ensemble.
