We sat down with Shabana from Maysa Boutique to discuss the brand’s gorgeous bridalwear collections.

What's the Bradford boutique like?
The whole concept of the boutique is based around space; space to look, space to enjoy and most importantly, space to relax. Brides should never feel rushed when choosing something as essential as their wedding gowns, so we ensure the atmosphere in our boutique is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our entire store has been designed with the customer in mind.

What do your collections offer?
Everything from chic kurtas to light Grecian-style suits, to elegant semi-formals that make the easy transition from day to night all in sizes 6 - 24 but we can tailor them to any size needed.
Bridal and partywear are our forte most sought after collections – we have clients from as far afield as Europe, the US and Canada. The bridal collections include lehengas, gowns, dresses and lachas, all of which can be customised according to a client’s tastes. And because an Asian wedding is rarely about just one day, we also have a huge range of Mehndi outfit options allowing clients to shop for all their events needs under one roof.

What inspires your collections?
It’s an exciting mix of Indian, Pakistani, Arabic and English influences that make Maysa Boutique a cut above our rivals. Our design team spend hours examining new trends and styles from around the world before putting together collections. Every design has a distinctive quality or feature about it, something that no one else will have. Our pieces are magnificent artworks to love, and be loved, in.

Tell me about your bridal service
We invite the client in to the store for a consultation. Many brides have been dreaming of their weddings since they were in school, so we usually have lots of ideas to work with! Completely bespoke orders need up to 12 weeks to create from start to finish and we’ll need a few additional weeks for fittings to ensure a flawless fit. We're committed to providing the highest quality service and won’t rest until the bride is 100% happy with her look.
