Dia Mirza opted for a sustainable linen sari by Anavila for the occasion. Then there was Janhvi Kapoor, who wore a vibrant drape by Manish Malhotra from his Ruhaaniyat collection. Posing with husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra was spotted in a floral drape by Sabyasachi. Kajal Aggarwal, too, picked a gorgeous sunshine-hued drape from the couturier for her lockdown engagement ceremony in June earlier this year. Because of the versatility of yellow, a range of bridal wear designers presented a variety of silhouettes to choose from in their 2020 collections. Take Rahul Mishra for example. In his Lotus Pond collection, part of India Couture Week this year, the designer harnessed the glisten of canary yellow with the Bidri lehenga that’s paired with a layered foliage crop top and sheer organza dupatta.
