Here are a few of our favourites from Abhinav Mishra’s enticing collection:
Sunflower
As the name suggests, these iconic pieces are breezy, colourful and free. You’ll find sparkling embellishments, beautiful mirror work, and dazzling designs that catch the eye. This collection will be sure to turn heads at a daytime affair, such as a pre-wedding party, or engagement ceremony. Splashes of brightness and dramatic prints are perfect for a bohemian, and carefree look.
Mausam Mastana
Showcasing all the ingredients of an idyllic mehndi, the theme Mausam Mastana stands true to its name. This is for the bride that wants to balance her vibrant avatar with her vintage aura and for the 21st century woman with an affinity for all things timeless. The images of the collection are set against the backdrop of a royal palace, and showcase a dance celebration, whist wearing bright colours and bold patterns
Tarana
This theme is a melodious daawat, mixed with ivories and beiges with the designer’s mirror work juxtaposed in nawaabi designs. It’s for the bride that wants a royal touch with fabrics dripped in enchantment and wonder. The sedated colour palette has a vibe of an effortless flow, so you can mingle freely with your party during your wedding celebrations. An affair for the royals, with a glamorous feel.
Retro Romance
When it comes to the final day of their wedding, many brides are hit with nostalgia, and reminisce about the days leading up to the Big Day. Retro Romance focuses on the power of the heirloom, and pieces reflect the perfect balance between glamour and old world charm. The designs are soaked in an aura of retro glam, alongside fusing traditional, with a contemporary edge.
Parineeti Chopra
Our Spring cover girl, Parineeti Chopra, dazzled in Abhinav Mishra’s glamorous bridalwear.
Mughal-motif inspired hand-embroidered designs with classic mirror and resham work takes the glam quotient a notch higher for any bride-to-be. The stunning lehenga, teamed with a mirror and pearl-work dupatta also creates a classic, elegant look for Parineeti Chopra.
Parineeti wears a heavily decorated rani-pink, raw silk blouse and skirt, with a contrasting off-white organza dupatta.
Playing bridal muse, Parineeti wears a raw silk-panel anarkali, embellished with mirror and zari work, and a soft-net dupatta.
