Pleats, embellishments and swathes of floaty peach chiffon combine for this issue’s cover outfit by Style Rooms. The elegant tall-necked, floor-length chiffon gown oozes femininity and streamlines the figure making it ideal for a mid-spring or early summer registry or reception.
OUTFIT:
A floaty chiffon dream for a registry bride
The sleeveless bodice is embellished with a trio of intricate thread, bead and crystal work, adding texture and life to the top half, while a pleated skirt brings movement to the lower portion without fighting for attention with the rest of the outfit. A patterned underskirt hiding underneath a top layer of chiffon brings playful glints of sparkle to the look, but again, without being too overbearing. Bringing together the spheres of western weddings and Asian culture, the peach gown embodies a look that is all about understated, timeless glamour.

MAKEUP:
Pared back elegance is the beauty look of the season
A departure from the traditional bridal look of heavy eyeliner and strong lips, our beauty look this cover was inspired by the new beginnings and freshness of spring. Create a smooth ‘blank canvas’ with primer, ensuring the product fills any creases and under eye wrinkles. Bone structure is created with peachy tones rather than a contouring palette, as we wanted to keep the overall look quite subtle. For this same reason, we used soft pencil to line the eyes rather than gel. Cream blush gave a gorgeous glow to the cheeks, while nude and soft brown shadow on the lids gives definition without being overpowering. Finish the look by lightly filling in eyebrows with pencil and a sweep of coral on the lips. Soft, tumbling curls finishes the vintage look.
