Alanna Panday has become a favourite amongst the Gen Z-ers. Securing a top spot as a global influencer, her style is recognized by thousands of fashion enthusiasts from across the world. The 26-year-old influencer, with Indian roots (cousin to Ananya and Ahaan Panday), is now based out of Los Angeles, California.
Earlier this week, Alanna Panday got engaged to her boyfriend Ivor McCray during their vacation in the Maldives. And yes, it proved to be the most romantic destination and ambience possible!
Alanna took to Instagram to share the photographs from their dreamy proposal along the beach at the luxury resort Soneva Jani in the Maldives. With the words “Marry me” written on the sand and Ivor on his knees in between a heart drawn on the sand, the visual left us teary-eyed. While Alanna looked stunning in a Krésha Bajaj resort wear creation, Ivor opted for a striped shirt with denim.
Reminiscing the first time they met, the post was captioned "2 years ago today, I met this amazing human at a Halloween party. He made me laugh so much that night my jaw hurt. Everything else seems pretty blurry but all I can remember was how happy he made me. We moved in together 3 months into knowing each other (I know, too soon but I literally couldn’t stay away from him for more than a day). I think it was because he made a foreign country feel like home. I never felt homesick when I was around him. Thank you for cooking me Indian food when I missed home, thank you for making me laugh when I felt low, thank you for showing me how to love unconditionally. You are my perfect other half and I love you more and more every day."
The duo has been dating for a while before they decided to tie the knot. Ivor expressed in an interview that the reason he choose the 3rd of November was that it is the day that marks their first-date anniversary. The proposal was a straight out of a romantic-comedy movie with McCray on his knees as he popped the question and gave her an oval-cut glistening diamond ring.
Alanna and Ivor have been enjoying their time together on vacation in the Maldives as they watched Disney movies and cuddled up on the beach at Soneva Jani. The couple disclosed that they don't have a wedding date in mind yet, however they are looking at tying the knot a year from now with two weddings, one in India and second in America.
