Wedding connoisseur, Saheli Mirpuri, turns talk-show host in this latest Youtube series, Sit Back With Saheli. Your Big Day is such a vital and precious occasion, but few brides get the chance to know the personalities behind those all essential vendors. 

Saheli’s show uncovers the finer details of why these individuals decided to get involved in the wedding industry. Bringing out personal anecdotes, Saheli gives you a sense of the individuals behind the businesses. Having been in the lavish wedding and event market for the past five years, Saheli has built a list of contacts who are experts in their respective fields. Sit Back With Saheli promises to span from photographers to jewellers and more. 

Episode 1
Photography and Videography
In episode one, Saheli’s inaugural guests are the creative minds behind the renowned, VIP Studio and Mobile Moments London. Saheli's second guest, Shreya of Reya Jewels, a luxurious family-run jewellery company, that specialises in diamond and semi-precious stones. Food and Music
Food and music are two vital parts of any wedding, especially at Asian weddings, with this in mind, Saheli delves into the world of catering and entertainment. Saheli speaks to Ash Gosai from Shimla Catering and Bhavik Haria of Bhavik Haria Music. Ash elaborates on his experience of what goes behind delivering wed-worthy food. Bhavik explains how key it is to cater to music tastes across a spectrum of guests; he always aims to ensure everyone is having a great time be it your grandma or your girls. Joining Saheli on the pink sofa is singer-songwriter turned drinks connoisseur, Tasha Tah. Her company, Breeze Cocktails brings a dazzling array of effervescent fizz and colour to delight wedding guests, and talks about how to serve personalised drinks to suit all manner of tastes. Also on the sofa this episode, is Karisha Pithwa, the extreme cake maker from Creme De La Cakes. Renowned for her opulent designs, she discusses the skills and craftsmanship required to design true works of art.

Bespoke Stationery and Personalised Gifting
It’s imperative your wedding has a unique touch, and the guests joining Saheli this week know how to create a personalised service. Urvi Sheth, of RAW Invites talks about the importance of designing beautiful invites, table plans and welcome boards guaranteed to wow your guests. The Talented Simi Mirpuri of Time & Life Gifts saw a gap in the market for finding personalised gifts for your friends and family and chats about how to create keepsake items.  



Episode 9
Music and Decorations

A DJ is certainly there to get the party started, and Saheli takes you behind the scenes with the fabulous DJ Rugrat, founder and DJ at Musical Movements. Accompanying them both on the pink sofa is Amee Thakkar from the infamous UK Decorator, Wed In Style. The bridal beauty world has developed rapidly over the years, with brides wanting a more of a tailored experience. From being comfortable on the biggest day of your life with your make-up artist, to creating a glowing bridal look, Roshni from Roshni Hair & Makeup joins Saheli on the pink sofa. Bridal jewellery is also a big focus this episode, stressing on the importance of bringing your own personality to your look. Maggy from Roots jewellery focuses on how to advise brides with accessorising on your Big Day.

Delicious drinks & Sweet treats
One of the biggest elements of a wedding event, is wining and dining. Saheli looks into the world of drinks at weddings (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and also how to ensure guests are looked after with personalised cocktails, along with excellent service. Azure Bars give a guideline on how to execute your own cocktail vision with perfection. Meanwhile, every guest needs a sweet treat after a wedding meal, and Tina from Sugar Box Events chats about how you can make your desserts more fun and personal with dessert showcasing.
