A playground of the rich and famous, the 28 island nations in the Caribbean are all beautiful yet uniquely different. Amongst the most popular is St. Lucia, home of the mighty Piton mountains, a landmark so revered it’s on their national flag.

The Suites
When it comes to first impressions, Jade Mountain’s Sanctuaries, make knock-outs ones. They’re entirely open plan with a missing fourth wall where a window might be that makes the Pitons feel within touching distance. By removing this glass barrier, you become part of the epic view, completely immersing you in the tropical surroundings. Every sanctuary has an unobstructed view of the Pitons, they’re biggest draw. All suites boast infinity pools or Jacuzzis.
In-Room Experiences
Sunbathe on the deck or sip cocktails from the edge of your infinity pool. Sunsets are particular highlights here; the whole sky turns into a honey and pastel striped dome – no filter required. Food experiences like afternoon tea are available in your Sanctuary. Don’t miss the Chef on Wheels experience, which involves staff whipping up amazing dishes in your suite. Spa treatments can be delivered in your sanctuary too: try the full body massage, which was so good I felt like I’d been hit with a tranquilliser dart.
Service
All sanctuaries are looked after by four Major Domos (personal butlers) available for anything – from poolside martinis at 10am to booking a cruise in the shadow of the Pitons at dusk. You’ll wonder how you ever managed life without them.
