You wedding will last for just one day, but the memories will live on forever. Most importantly, the wedding pictures will become keepsakes for generations to relish and look back at family history. It’s exactly why you’ll want the best of the best elements to come out in the Big Day photos. From bridal outfit to intimate moments, you are likely to focus on the obvious aspects when it comes to those stunning snapshots. But apart from the major details, you would have likely spent a lot of time, money and effort on the other things. Among the various items that take on the wedding budget, it is the destination and the venue that accounts for the most. And for good reason! The venue will be the backdrop for the ceremony, the décor and even the wedding images.

That’s why it’s important to plan pictures that reflect your gorgeous venue. But capturing your photogenic wedding might seem like a task without professional photographer. A Khush favourite is wedding photographer Satpal Kainth. A visual storyteller, Satpal is renowned for bringing artistry to the celebrations. “I love capturing all the elements and emotions of each and every wedding. Among other things, the location is paramount. Blending art and storytelling has enabled me to capture imagery in a cohesive and artistic manner. Inspired by regal paintings and also fashion, I have infused the two into my unique fine art style,” says Satpal.

“When it comes to the venue, I ensure I am in right place at the right time. It is a skill that I have developed with years of experience. I always begin by looking for the best location and light that will complement and enhance the couple’s imagery. I add artificial light or use natural light depending on the environment and the look I am trying to create. Directing the couples is key to make couples feel at ease and enhance the imagery,” he adds.

To help you get some inspiration, we have pulled out our favourite pictures from Satpal Kainth’s Instagram account.
