We were sent some to try, here’s our verdict:
What’s in it?: Chickpeas, carrot, courgette, butternut squash and feta with a lemon and sun-dried tomato dressing.

Dania el-Katme, Sales Executive: “I’m a salad-phobe. Say ‘salad’ and I think of wilting leaves - not the most appetising image. So, when I tried the Mediterranean Salad Jar, I was wary but curious. There was barely a leaf in sight; instead delicious veg and feta cheese crowded my fork, covered in gorgeous dressing. It’s the best salad I’ve ever tried.”
What’s in it?: Cooked white quinoa, chargrilled sweetcorn, black beans, cooked black barley and Provola cheese with a jalapeno & lime dressing.
Calories: 316
Abha Shah, Features Editor: “Like Dania, I view salads with thinly veiled suspicion. I know they’re good for me, but they never seem to hit the mark. The Mexican Salad Jar has made me a salad convert. The quinoa, beans and cheese help you power through the afternoon, and the dressing is my idea of perfection. Loved it. All salads should take a leaf out of BOL’s book.”
What’s in it?: Spinach, Cauliflower, Red lentils, Black Beluga® Lentils and Coconut in a Sri Lankan style Sambar sauce
Calories: 309
Vikas Rattu, Fashion Editor: “As a vegan, finding a filling lunch or dinner option was a daily headache. Not anymore. This veg pot is delicious and the only thing that stops it from being perfect for me is the spice level – it’s nowhere near as hot as I’d like. But I’d definitely stock up on the vegan pots for the week, they’re simple, filling and fuss-free.”
The other flavours: Mexican Sweet Potato Chilli (324cal), Jamaican Jerk Curry (311cal), Thai Coconut Curry (265cal)
