When the actor entered the industry his style was classic yet sophisticated – solid tees were often paired with bell bottoms for most of his looks. In Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, this classic netted shirt with a headband became iconic. Followed by K3G iconic looks of a matching leather jacket and glares look, that soon turned into a new found love for look that was reminiscent of a young college boy.
With his film Krrish he embraced long curly locks and deep v-neck tees. While Dhoom 2 marked the turning point of his style game. The role required him to be supe- fit and with jaw-dropping six pack abs, his fashion transformed. The actor added polish to his look, and ditched the chocolate boy looks for a more manly appearance. Formal shirts and suits became his go-to. Along with this, there’s been a shift in the colour palette to versatile shades of dark colours like black, blue, grey, khaki and white. With the addition of the stubble, every look was more powerful and dapper.
Over the years, this passion for fitness has remained strong, and in 2013 he launched India’s first homegrown fitness brand HRX. This was synonymous with the period when athleisure was at its peak and gained immense momentum. Staying true to his brands ideology, his wardrobe started leaning more towards street style. Today, his wardrobe is an amalgamation of cool and causal street style, plain fitted tees, formal suits and trench coats.
