Sanjana Sanghi Debuts On The Runway As The Showstopper For Pankaj & Nidhi

Returning to its grand glory, FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week 2022 in New Delhi created a social media storm with celebrity showstoppers alongside a dedicated designer line-up. Designers Pankaj & Nidhi brought the gorgeous, coastal town of Marbella, Spain to life on the runway. Inspired by the beauty of this quaint town, the designer duo presented their iconic silhouettes in digitally enhanced colourful camouflaged floral prints. The silk organza petals and leaves set onto dreamy tulles once again appreciated their design excellence. 

A dive into this collection made us crave for a vacation in these resort looks! Designers Pankaj and Nidhi simply elevated summer prints to a whole new level with references to the Orange Square and Museo del Bonsai in Europe. The collection was dedicated to the “young and free” spirit of travelling luxuriously through the landscapes here. 

The It Girl

On Day 4 of Lakmé Fashion Week, the young and dynamic actor Sanjana Sanghi made her runway debut as a showstopper for designers Pankaj and Nidhi. In an exclusive insider conversation with Khush Wedding, “It has been as special as I knew it would be,” shares the ‘Dil Bechara’ actress. She applauded the designers’ attention to detail while making a party of it all and making her first runway appearance an extraordinary experience. The young advocate for education took her time to learn about and enjoy the process of preparing leading up to the final show. It brought back the memories of her first day on a film set. 

The Perfect Choice

The showstopper resonated with Pankaj and Nidhi’s interpretation of the picturesque town which is “full of colour, summery and breezy.” Sanjana noted that the classic style of the designers mixed with details of Marbella is truly a “match made in heaven.” Sanjana, being a social media sweetheart with quite a large fan following, expressed that her appearance on the runway was celebrated with love. That stands true with the dazzling number of more than 62,000 likes on her runway images. Sanjana later said that she hopes her fans enjoyed her Pankaj and Nidhi look as much as she did.
