Designed by architect Divya Thakur of Design Temple, the interiors of the boutique exude luxury through each element, from ambient dazzling chandeliers to jaalis reflecting patterns on the floor. The first look inside the store is of the ready-to-wear line that works to give visitors a taster of what’s to come. As you go deeper into the store, you will find Tarun’s iconic lehengas on the right and the ‘Sari Bar’ on the left showcasing impeccable craftsmanship and is stocked with classical saris, textiles, and the designer’s signature concept saris.
A unique addition to the corridors, ‘Library Of Time’ is adorned with the exquisite mother of pearl cabinetry that holds archived vintage weaves, look books and accessories alongside royal jewel boxes. This unmissable section of ‘Objects of Desire’ will also showcase brocade bags, belts and the silver jewels collection. The highlights are the menswear fashion store and the big bridal salon, which features colour-blocked rooms, so one can go through all the predominant collections and see the whole range at one time.
Drawing inspiration from historic drapes, motifs, embroidery styles, the vision for this store was fully realised through a presentation by the couturier himself at the launch event at the store. Tarun Tahiliani is set to create a storm with the ‘Indian Modern’ design philosophy that celebrates Indian heritage through glorious designs. For enquiries, visit: www.TarunTahiliani.com
