The Logistics
“Planning a wedding abroad takes time, patience and meticulous planning. As experienced destination wedding planners, we deal with all the logistics of each event build, the suppliers on site, and the safety of the staff and guests. We dedicate up to 7 days for each destination wedding to ensure that we are on site at least 2 days prior to first event to greet the family as they arrive. We have a dedicated project manager who is the key contact between the suppliers and the venue operations team to make sure we have smooth set up.”
The Décor
“Once the event spaces have been approved for each event, we design mood boards based on the ideas and concepts the couple have shared with us. We then find at least 3 local suppliers for décor and get price comparisons the couple agree a contract with the company.”
The Food
“A key part of our role as destination planners is to liaise with the venue/hotel chefs and create a menu that works for our couple and their guests. Many of our weddings are Asian weddings which require some element of Indian cuisine throughout the celebrations. We have Indian chefs we bring in from the UK and also have a number of Indian chefs based many of the countries that we work in.”
The Gifts
“We can source bespoke gift baskets from local suppliers as a welcome gift in each guest’s hotel room. This can include personalised items and can be tailored to what the couple want.”
The Entertainment
“We have access to every type of entertainment from Flyboard combined with a saxophone player to ballerina and violinist for a bride’s entrance. We have had a grooms arrive on the Mediterranean Sea on a Ferrari car boat to quad bike over the scorpion deck. We can do a vidai via parasailing for the couple to a spectacular firework & fire dancer show for an evening entrance. The list is endless, and we aim to deliver what the couple wants.”
