Aneka Sharma married Francis Woodcock in February 2019 in Goa, India. "Six years worth of memories since we've been together, and we've travelled to Venice, Portugal, Ghana, Rio, Austria and Prague with our bond going from strength to strength."
Location
"Goa was the perfect compromise between what we both wanted. A traditional wedding combined with a beach, English ceremony and hot weather. The resort was one we had stayed at as a family over many years. We loved it, so thought it would be a perfect fit."
Decor
"The theme was a fairytale woodland, where we used the surrounding scenery and foliage to create a magical setting in whites, greens and golds. We even had personalised stationary for everyone; a rose quartz ganesh, pasmina shawls, and English and Indian sweets!"
The Look
"I had a different look for each event. I chose natural hues with undertones of pink for the English wedding, and a messy up-do for my hair. For the Indian wedding, I wanted an old-school Bollywood feel. I had my hair scraped back in a low bun, and opted for floral detail with a Matha Patti."
Memories
"Frances entered in a vintage 1920's white car with his best man. He wad accompanied by a dancing bharat, friends and family, and dhol players. I made my entry under a floral chaddar held by my bridesmaids and 'brothers'. Upon meeting my dad, he walked me to the milni stage... Throughout all the events, we were overwhelmed with joy and excitement the whole way through - as well as nerves!"
