Krumblies is owned and run by Kirsty, who has always had a passion for the arts and all thing creative. Krumblies has been officially running since February 2013, however Kirsty has been baking for many years, starting as a child with lesson in modelling from her grandmother Sylvia, who also created Wedding cakes. In fact Sylvia was the catalyst for the creation of Krumblies.
Back in 2009, with a new born baby, Kirsty obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a 2:1 grade, this was in Interior Design & digital modelling, Although incredibly challenging, she absolutely loved it.
Kirsty loves a challenge and has a deep rooted need to learn and expand on the knowledge she already has, so whilst keeping up to date with current cake and wedding trends she regularly attends classes on top of the hours of online tuition and research she does weekly to stay in the loop.
Kirsty has been lucky enough to travel to parts of the world she hold dear to her heart and is developing her Asian portfolio.
She combines her pure love of baking and experience in design into creating Edible art.
She puts her heart and soul into creating the perfect centerpiece tailored to each individual couple.
Although loving all baking, our Specialism in more of a modern and contemporary finish, focusing on Wedding cakes, Cupcakes, Dessert Tables, Rustic Buttercream cakes, Naked cakes and having a real focus on Flavours.
