If you’re after that coveted bridal glow, then it’s time to explore the benefits of the resources easily available at home, and in new ways. Yes, we mean using DIY face masks for a flawless, glowing skin without spending a fortune. Some ingredients in your kitchen can work wonders when it comes to skincare. Think turmeric for inflammation, oat meal as an exfoliator and banana for hydration. But as they say, consistency is key to see the results. So, what are you waiting for? Delving into this budget-friendly hack will feels like a day at the spa. If when you want to give your skin some TLC, here are some simple concoctions that you can make at home for glowing skin. 1.Skin Brightening Mask 2 tbsp aloe vera gel1 pinch turmeric1 tbsp organic honeyFew drops of rose waterMix all the ingredients to make a paste. Apply evenly onto freshly cleansed skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Use once or twice a week for best results. This mask works well as an exfoliator to leave your skin looking fresh and radiant. 2. Glycolic Face Peel2 tbsp cane sugar?Mix with a few drops of water or 1tsp yogurt Add a drop of essential oil for hydration Make a paste by mixing all ingredients together. Apply it on the face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off. Use once or twice a week. Glycolic peels work well to acne scars for flawless skin.3. Almond Mask Soak 4 to 5 almonds in milk overnight. Next morning, peel the skin of the almonds and make a paste of the two ingredients. Apply a thin layer of the paste at night and wash it off in the morning. This mask can be used to help you get that flawless glow. 4. Tomato Mask 2 tsp fresh tomato juice3 tsp buttermilkCut a tomato and squeeze out two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice. Add buttermilk and mix well. Using a cotton pad, apply this mixture all over your face and neck and rinse it off after 30 minutes. With pore-shrinking properties, tomatoes help tighten the skin. So, say goodbye to blackheads and whiteheads, and hello to flawless skin! 5. Oatmeal Mask 2 tsp oatmeal1 tsp organic honey2-3 tsp milkMix the oatmeal and honey with the milk to get a paste. Apply on the face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with water. Oatmeal can soak up the excess oil on your skin and help treat acne. They clear out the pores by working as an exfoliator. 6. Banana Mask 1 ripe banana2 tbsp hung curd2 teaspoons honeyMash the ripe banana with yogurt and honey. Apply on the face for 20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. Bananas help to keep skin well-nourished and hydrated. Get baby soft skin with this DIY mask. 7. Egg Mask1 egg1 tbsp ground almondMake a paste with the two ingredients and apply on the face. Leave it on for 20 minutes. For best use, apply it at night and rinse off before sleeping. Bid adieu to dry sky and welcome soft, supple and glowing skin.8. Coffee Mask 2 tablespoons of ground coffee 1 tablespoon of honey Mix the two together to form a paste. Apply and keep it on for 15 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water and moisturise. More than just a boost of energy, caffeine has antioxidant properties that can help protect the skin from sun damage. Coffee removes dell skin cells, and in turn, brightens the complexion.
