How did you first get into the business? 
I've always loved the creative freedom of it, ever since I was young. When I got older I decided to turn my passion into a business. It's the smartest career decision I’ve ever made.

Who taught you how to do hair and makeup? 
I trained with two of the most established names in the business - Jawaad Ashraf and Saira Hussain. They were both amazing; so supportive, patient and nurturing. Their training was invaluable. 

What inspires you?
Fashion and beauty, both eastern and western. I keep up with catwalk trends, and showcase this through the looks I create.

Tell us about your bridal services.
I offer a full hair and makeup trial for brides before the wedding, which includes help with bridal outfits and jewellery. We’ll discuss various hair and makeup looks in order to find the right one for the Big Day. I also offer dupatta setting and sari dressing services. 

When should brides book you for their wedding?
I recommend up to a year in advance, as the summer months can be incredibly busy. It’s best to enquire as early as possible to secure your date.

“Brides are beginning to incorporate different colours into their wedding outfits, besides the traditional red and gold. I’m seeing more bridal clothes in blues and greens, which of course, filters down into the various makeup looks brides then opt for. I've noticed more requests for neutral makeup with just a pop of colour, paired with a toned down lip.”
