After over a decade in the industry, it’s fair to say there isn’t much bridal hairstylist Saira Rahman hasn't seen. From frizzy hair to questionable dye jobs, the experienced stylist has battled away bad hair days to ensure her clients are left with beautiful, envy-inducing hair. Her looks, seen here and in previous issues of Khush Wedding, are perfect for special occasions such as engagements, weddings and parties.
From sleek and sophisticated up-dos to full-bodied volumes, Saira is well versed in creating a look to make you stand out from the crowd. She says: “My passion lies in creating stunning styles to suit every woman, to be able to accentuate and enhance existing hair into a work of art.”

Now, she’s using her wealth of experience to school the next generation of superstar hairstylists in her latest venture, the Saira Rahman Hair Academy. From catwalk-worthy dos, bridal styles and red carpet looks, the courses are taught by Saira herself and offer a comprehensive education in hair artistry, making them suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience in the field.
Established in 2014, the Academy has launched the careers of hundreds of hairstylists across the UK. We spoke to three former students about how the Saira Rahman Hair Academy has changed their lives.

THE COURSE LOW DOWN

1. Bridal Hair
Learn how to create wed-worthy looks for brides-to-be, including dupatta setting and creating big volume.

2. Party Hair
This course teaches how to style various looks for special occasions, from elegant chignons to blow-out party waves.

3. Creative Hair
In this course, Saira will reveal the secrets to creating fashion-forward looks worthy of the catwalk.
