Whether you’re planning a glamorous bachelorette party with your girls, kicking off your wedding celebrations or on your honeymoon, makeup can truly complete your look. Besides its obvious beautification advantage of course, makeup is also the best medium of self-expression. A minimalist or maximalist, there are a list of essentials every bride needs to have in her wedding trousseau. If you’re not sure where to start, you’re in luck. We tapped in on the expertise of London-based makeup artist and educator, Vithya Visvendra spills the beans on her cosmetic must-buys for a simple look.
Vithya has worked with several celebrities including Prasanna & Sneha, Meena and Amy Jackson. Makeup, she says, should bring out your best features and not look cakey or plastered on. “Minimal, natural, but with a bold lip colour” describes her signature style.
