How did you start?

I’ve been a pro makeup artist for more than 6 years. Right from the start I was into makeup and after school, I did a degree in Makeup and Hair design for fashion and theatre because I wanted to have an edge. But my knowledge and makeup skills are from years of practice. YouTube channels such as Queen of Blending were how I mastered eye makeup.

What’s your USP?

I’ve worked on so many platforms with so many skin and hair types that I have the know-how to adapt to my client’s needs. I listen to what my client wants and work with them to create the perfect look.

BRIDAL TRIALS

A bridal makeup consultation is all about ideas. I want to find out who my client is, what they want and what they’re wearing for the Big Day. It’s also a good chance to discuss any allergies or skin issues. I’ll do a hair and makeup trial which allows me to analyse the bride’s skin, hair and face shape and we’ll work together to create a bespoke look that she’s completely confident wearing. It’s so important brides have a trial as it’s a chance to express herself. These small factors add up to the big finale and a trial is the best time to tweak and perfect.”

BEAUTY PREP

Keep skin looking and feeling fresh by drinking plenty of water - I add slices of cucumber to liven it up. Moisturise and apply SPF, even when it’s cloudy to protect against sun damage. Eat plenty of fruit and veg. The vitamins and antioxidants will help you feel happy and shiny, inside and out! Homemade facemasks are the best. Use turmeric, lemon and yogurt to cleanse and brighten the skin.
